1. Lettuce Bibbs, lettuce ini renyah dan lezat sebagai salad. Mudah tumbuh dan cantik terlihat dengan bentuk yang kompak dan megah. Menanam lettuce ini sangat menyenangkan karena bentuknya cantik.

2. Lettuce Butter Crunch, renyah manis. Tahan cuaca panas. Mirip dengan lettuce bibbs hanya lebih berair dan renyah.
Note : Buttercrunch lettuce was developed in the 1950s by horticulturalist George Raleigh of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Praised for its sweetness and resistance to bolt, it won the prestigious AAS Gold Medal Award in 1963

Vegetable Description: In Europe, this well known variety of lettuce has the name ‘Sucrine,’ meaning sugar, because of its sweetness. Little Gem has received numerous awards and comes highly recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany.

5. Lettuce Super Red Romaine
adalah jenis selada romaine atau cos. Rasanya renyah warnanya menarik. Bisa dipanen sebagai baby lettuce ataupun setelah besar.

Vegetable Description: Romaine lettuce, though named for its presence in the papal gardens, dates back to the third millenium BC, where ancient Egyptians depicted this type of lettuce in their bas-reliefs. Another name for Romaine, “Cos,” shows another part of its history on the Greek island of Kos. Later, Syrian gardeners began selectively breeding this type of lettuce to have a thick rib and spoon-like shape, since they used lettuce as a spoon for their traditional cuisine.

Bukan Paris kota di Perancis, tapi Parris ini adalah sebuah pulau di lepas pantai Carolina Selatan. Jenis lettuce ini sangat disukai karena rasanya yang super renyah, penuh cita rasa dan paling tinggi nutrisinya dibanding jenis lettuce yang lain. Tahan hama dan tahan panas.

Selada ini memiliki sejarah yang panjang sejak jaman dulu kala. Selada dikenal tercatat dalam sejarah dihidangkan di meja untuk raja Persia di abad ke 6 Masehi. Selanjutnya selada menjadi populer sebagai sayuran yang dibudidayakan di seluruh Eropa. Sekarang tidak diragukan lagi selada adalah jenis sayuran yang selalu dicari dan ditanam di berbagai perkebunan di seluruh dunia.
